Buckhannon Christian Academy is located in the heart of West Virginia in Buckhannon. It was established in the Fall of 2020. We are a non-denominational Christian school supported by churches all over Upshur County. BCA is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  

We believe that God has called Buckhannon Christian Academy into existence with the purpose of partnering with parents in the education of their children. One of the goals of the school is to meet the individual needs of our students by keeping class sizes small and challenging our students to work to their fullest potential.   Our aim is to teach every subject with a Biblical worldview and to provide opportunities for students to grow spiritually, scholastically, and relationally.  We are cultivating leaders who will serve their communities out of the love for God and others!  

Buckhannon Christian Academy is dedicated to the authority of God's Word.  Our faculty is ready to help families meet the challenge of training your child.  Proverbs 22:6 states: "Train up a child in the way he should go: when he is old, he will not depart from it."  Not only do we provide a solid academic foundation, we also provide Godly Christian examples that are essential to your child's happiness and wellbeing. 

Our dedicated Christian faculty is the biggest asset to our school. Every teacher holds a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.  Additionally, several of our staff members have a Master's Degree in Education.  God has called each faculty member to the ministry of creating well-rounded and prepared individuals.  The spiritual growth of each child is our greatest priority at Buckhannon Christian Academy.  An emphasis on academic and Christ-centered social growth rounds out the development of the child into a complete man or woman.
