CLUBS

BCA provides club activities at school which students can participate in outside of their regular academic classes. These activities are usually organized and run by volunteers, with the support of a teacher or advisor. BCA clubs focus on a wide variety of interests and hobbies, including academic subjects, sports, arts, community service, and more. Club schedules switch every nine weeks, allowing students to explore different areas of interest.

The main objective for BCA’s Bible Club is to present the Gospel to our students. Our volunteers are equipped to lead in delivering the timeless truths of the Bible in exciting, engaging ways. The club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth.

Crafts Club is a fun way for students to learn about making household objects into works of art. The activities are easy, thought-provoking, and educational. Crafts explore themes such as culture, science, and math. Through these crafts, students learn background information about each of the themes.

Listening to, and especially making music, has been show to stimulate areas all over the brain, particularly those associated with reading, math and emotional development in children. Hand drumming is perhaps the easiest entry into making music. It is an excellent way for children to improve listening skills and attention to task and

develop self-control, patience, cooperation and coping skills.

Starting a cooking club at BCA was a no-brainer! Our students love food and enjoy the responsibility of making it and sharing it with others. Learning to cook builds confidence and independence. Students are given an opportunity to learn kitchen basics and to try a variety of foods.

Spanish school clubs enable students to learn about Spanish language, culture, and history outside of the classroom. Their purpose is to further the members' love of the Spanish language and introduce them to different aspects of the Hispanic culture through food, arts, and entertainment.

A  woodworking club provides important experiences for students, where they use their hands to build confidence, strength of character, and problem solving capabilities useful in all careers and in every educational experience.

Running Club is designed to encourage students to gain an appreciation for walking, jogging and running. It is designed to engage students in a healthier, more active lifestyle, as well as promote character principles and school pride. Students will also be encouraged to set personal goals and engage in a fun activity which can help to set the mood for a productive day at school.

Archery is a unique club at BCA which is enjoyed by our older students.  Archery requires focus, strength and determination.
