 2026-2027 Enrollment opens Thursday, March 19th, 2026. Priority is given to applications submitted by April 6th. Application does not guarantee admission.

 

Families interested in enrolling their child in Buckhannon Christian Academy (Pre-K through 11th grade) should follow the procedures listed below:  

 

  1. Complete the EnrollMe application at the following link:

  2. No student will be admitted without a copy of the original state-issued birth certificate, complete immunization record, and student files from the previous school/homeschool (if applicable).

  3. After the application and non-refundable application fee are received, the office manager will set up an appointment for a family interview and tour of the school.  The parent(s)/guardian(s) and the student must be present. The student will be given an assessment. The non-refundable application fee may be paid by check delivered or mailed to the school.

  4. Tuition payments begin July 1st for the following school year. If the student is accepted after July 1st, first tuition payment is due prior to attending. The non-refundable enrollment fee must be paid prior to attending.

  5. All Kindergarten students are assessed prior to admission.  Applicants for 1st grade and above must have report cards, test scores, behavior records, IEP, etc. from previous school years.  Buckhannon Christian Academy reserves the right to assess any student requesting enrollment.  Additional testing fees may apply.

  6. Following a family interview and student assessment, a determination letter of admission will be sent after all records are reviewed and application payment is received.

TUITION AND FEES

2026-2027 TUITION FEE SCHEDULE
 

APPLICATION FEE 

The Application Fee is due at the time of submitting the application.

  • New Students: $100.00 per student

  • Returning Students: $0.00 per student

 

ENROLLMENT FEES 

The Enrollment Fee is due before the 1st day of the school.

  • New Students: $100.00 per student

  • Returning Students: $100.00 per student

  • High School Fee: $100.00 per student *applies only to students entering 9th-11th grades

Enrollment and High School Student Fees are non-refundable.

 

YEARLY TUITION

The following tuition rates are applied to students in all grades. The tuition rate includes book fees, art fees, and other curriculum-related fees.

 

  • $6,600 per student lump sum or $550.00 per month

 

Non-HOPE Scholarship Students:  $1,100.00 July/August tuition is due before 1st day of school, plus application fee (if applicable) and enrollment fee if not already paid.

 

HOPE Scholarship Students: It has been reported to BCA that the HOPE Scholarship award for 2026-2027 will be $5,435.62.  $194.38 July/August tuition is due before 1st day of school, plus application fee (if applicable) and enrollment fee if not already paid.

According to the West Virginia State Treasurer's Office, Hope Scholarship funds will be placed in student accounts in the Student First Technologies powered by Theodore Portal. Half of the annual scholarship amount will be deposited by Augst 15th with the second half by January 15th. If these funds are delayed for any reason, BCA reserves the right to ask families to continue with monthly payments until those funds are received. 

 

*Pre-K4 students must be four years old by July 1st. Kindergarten students must be five years old by July 1st. 

 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

  • Pay monthly -  Tuition payments are due by the 5th of each month beginning July 5, 2026 and continuing until June 5, 2027.  

  • Non-Hope Scholarship Students - $550.00 per month

  • Hope Scholarship Students - July payment $97.38 then monthly payments August-June $97.00 per month

A $25 Late Fee will be assessed if tuition is not paid by the 10th of each month.

OTHER FEES

If testing is necessary at any time, there will be a minimum fee of $75.

 

TUITION ASSISTANCE

  • Multi-child discount rates are unavailable for the 2026-2027 school year. 

  • Applications for Tuition Assistance are available upon request.
