
​ADMISSIONS​
Families interested in enrolling their child in Buckhannon Christian Academy (Pre-K through 8th grade) should follow the procedures listed below:

Complete the EnrollMe application at the following link: https://secure.gradelink.com/2759/enrollment

No student will be admitted without a copy of the original state-issued birth certificate, complete immunization record, and student files from previous school/homeschool (if applicable).

After the application and non-refundable application fee are received, the administrator will call to set up an appointment for an interview and tour of the school. The parent(s)/guardian(s) and the student must be present. The non-refundable application fee may be paid by check delivered or mailed to the school.

Tuition payments begin July 1st for the following school year. If the student is accepted after July 1st, first tuition payment is due prior to attending. The non-refundable enrollment fee must be paid prior to attending.

All Kindergarten students are assessed prior to admission. Applicants for 1st grade and above must have report cards, test scores, behavior records, IEP, etc. from previous school years. Buckhannon Christian Academy reserves the right to assess any student requesting enrollment. Additional testing fees may apply.

A determination letter of admission will be sent after all records are reviewed and application payment is received.
TUITION AND FEES
2025-2026 TUITION FEE SCHEDULE
APPLICATION FEE
The Application Fee is due at the time of submitting the application:

New Students: $100.00 per student

Application Fees are non refundable.
ENROLLMENT FEES
The Enrollment Fee is due before the 1st day of the school:

New and Returning Students: $100.00 per student

High School Student Fee (only applies to 9th and 10th grade): $100.00 per student

Enrollment and High School Student Fees are non-refundable.
YEARLY TUITION
The following tuition rates are applied to students in all grades. The tuition rate includes book fees, art fees, and other curriculum-related fees.

$6,000.00 per student lump sum or $500.00 per month
Non-HOPE Scholarship Students: $500 monthly tuition is due the 5th of the month starting July 5th.
HOPE Scholarship Students: While the amount of the HOPE Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year has not yet been announced, BCA has been advised that the award amount is $5,267.38. With this in mind, $61.05 July tuition is due July 5th. This amount is subject to change once the HOPE Board of Directors releases the new award amount.

According to the West Virginia State Treasurer’s Office, Hope Scholarship funds will be placed in student accounts in the Student First Technologies powered by Theodore Portal. Half of the annual scholarship amount will be deposited by August 15th with the second half by January 15th. If these funds are delayed for any reason, BCA reserves the right to ask families to continue with monthly payments until those funds are received.

A $25.00 Late Fee will be assessed if tuition is not paid by the 10th of each month.

Any student who has not paid July and August tuition and/or applicable fees described above (Application, Enrollment, High School Student) prior to the first day of school will not be allowed to attend until paid.
*Pre-K4 students must be four years old by September 1st. Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1st. Priority is given to students whose birthdays are before July 1.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Pay monthly. Tuition payments are due by the 5th of each month.
*July and August tuition payments (2/12 of tuition) are considered non-refundable deposits for the school year.
OTHER FEES

If testing is necessary at any time, there will be a minimum fee of $75.
