Since 2021, Country Time Cooking has been providing students and staff at BCA with nutritious lunches. Owner Rhonda Ringer and her staff create a variety of kid-friendly choices, and delivers meals two times a week.

Meet our Partner: The Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund
BCA has received a $3,669.00 grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund. These funds will be used to support our electronic device program and will directly help our teachers to implement technology into the classrooms increasing the learning possibilities of our students.
Weyerhaeuser has been growing forests and producing a sustainable supply of wood for homes and countless other products for more than a century. The company’s Giving Fund supports hundreds of important organizations and programs in the communities where they operate with funding, time, expertise and resources. In 2021, the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund donated a total of $5.9 million in charitable grants, in-kind donations and sponsorships to organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

Meet our Partner: Buckhannon Family Dental
BCA has received a large monetary donation from Dr. Jeffrey D. Coffman at Buckhannon Family Dental which was used to purchase an indoor water fountain for our students located on the second floor of our school building. These students were refilling their water bottles in restroom sinks as it was too time consuming for them to access the downstairs kitchen without missing important classroom instruction.
We have found that our students are staying better hydrated which increases their productivity and ability to concentrate.

Meet our Partner: Smoke Holler BBQ
BCA’s PTO partnered with Smoke Holler BBQ for a successful fundraiser! Delicious meat platters of pulled pork, sliced brisket, chicken leg quarters, smoked sausage, ribs, and baked beans quickly sold out. A very generous donation made by Smoke Holler BBQ helped to contribute to the success of this fundraiser.
